About Us

A Local Congregation of Jesus Christ

Providing Hope to the South Coast of Massachusetts

Hope Church of Christ was formed in July 2025.  The goal this congregation is to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the residents of the greater Randolph area (Quincy, Randolph, Avon, Holbrook, Canton, Stoughton, Weymouth, and other area towns).

Our focus is on:

  • Obeying God’s word.
  • Living together in brotherly fellowship and unity.
  • Sharing the Gospel message with the world.

Members of the Hope Church of Christ have turned their lives over to Jesus Christ.  Repentance, baptism, and confession of Jesus Christ as Lord has occurred for each member.  A small group of dedicated disciples that are committed to God’s holy word (The Bible).

Our focus and aim are on proclaiming the excellencies of Almighty God and Jesus Christ the Son of God. With the hope that all mankind will come to a saving knowledge of the truth. That they will follow God’s holy word and remain pure in complete holiness.

Kingdom Life

There is much misunderstanding of “church” and going to church.  Some think of church as a Sunday morning event held in a church building. This is not church.  The Church is God’s people.  Everyday. All day.

The Kingdom of God on Earth.  Kingdom gatherings are special times for disciples of Jesus Christ to gather in worship.  But church is the people of God.  Those that are part of God’s household.

Frequent Gatherings of Believers

The weekly gatherings of God’s people is a time of fellowship, discipleship, praise, encouragement, and taking of the memorial meal honoring Jesus Christ.  It is not an outreach event, public service, or online spectacle.  Kingdom gatherings are special private occasions where the church gathers to empower one another.

  1. Worship God
  2. Encourage One Another
  3. Perform Good Works
  4. Testify about God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit

The most important gathering of followers is on Sunday. Every member gathers to participate in the Lord’s memorial meal, joyous singing, prayer, discipleship, fellowship meals, and preaching.  But this is not the only meeting during the week.

Saints spend time together doing good works, one-on-one discipleship, praying together, in Bible study, teaching outsiders, public preaching outreach, and special events. Christianity is a daily walk with God.
